On the other side of the world, migrant workers toil in the company's Shanghai assembly plant earn dollars a day, assembling dolls they will never be able to afford to give to their own children. 

After the company CEO is murdered, the Tomorrow Girl toy factory becomes the center of an international investigation. People from vastly different circumstances, Americans and Chinese, rich and poor, powerful and humble, must work together to prevent to a horrific terrorist attack.
