Everyone knows the usual amazing Madrigals, but what do we know about when the triplets were young adults? True, the eldest and middle were married or being courted, but what about Bruno? Well, he had a wife, but she mysteriously vanished one day, about a week after their wedding. Unbeknownst to anyone, not even herself, she was pregnant. In this strange new world, she brought forth new life, though at great cost.
Six children she bore, six children spread around the world when it was apparent that she had no family and would not come to after her ordeal. Will they find the Encanto? Will she awaken? If so, will the Madrigals accept her back?

The very first grandchildren to the Madrigal family. But between their birth and when they received their powers, Bruno's reputation continued to deteriorate. As did his relationship with his mother and sisters. He was becoming desperate. People in the town feared him. All he wanted was love. Then Bruno meets Valentina. They hit it off. Bruno is desperate. And his desperation results in an accident. Valentina becomes pregnant. Abuela is angry. They offer to get married but Abuela says the damage is done. Valentina gives birth to a baby girl she names Itzayana, after the moon. But Valentina never sees her daughter grow. Follow Itzayana as she navigates being a Madrigal and deals with the effects of her power. And maybe, just maybe, Itzayana finds someone special of her own.Complete

I decided to write this story since I kept watching the movie, Encanto over and over again. This story happens 2 months after the film. The magic is restored, the miracle is back, Bruno is still with the family and he is no longer villainized by the community. All the Madrigals have their gifts back, well except Mirabel. Now the Madrigals are even more busy with all the people they need to serve. But Mirabel is still reminded that she is the only Madrigal without a gift. This deeply hurts her, but her family doesn't notice since they are all to busy. Soon , some of the family members forget what happened between her and them and they begin to treat her like they did before the film, like she was a baby. They have even forgotten everything she has done for them, the only thing they do recall is her bring the magic back. But they don't give her enough credit. The only one who notices the pain Mirabel is in is Casita. Casita is saddened and angry that everyone in the family is ignoring Mirabel, so Casita uses a special magic from the miracle to show the entire family the movie, along with a heartbreaking secret from Mirabel's past. The Madrigal's Casita will give them a proper perspective. I hope... I don't own any of the characters or songs in the story, I only own the idea of the story. The film, the characters and the songs all rightfully belong to Walt Disney. A/N: The first chapter will be told in Mirabel's point of view, the rest will al be in 3rd person point of view.Complete
