Her days are spent on Peytas's winding streets collecting mortal luck as retribution for her blasphemy.

But when her least favorite post-heaven group, the Ex-Celestials Association, assigns her guard duty at the underworld's entrance, Keenan is pulled back into the lower realm drama that got her banished in the first place. One riot leads to another, and soon a god is held for ransom by demons, the city falls to religious reform, and Keenan is offered her wings back on one condition.
