Alice Woodpeck was never taught how to sing. She liked to do it on her own and only for fun. But her crazy best friend Casey convinces her to audition for a singing competition they heard about on the radio. THE PERFECT DUET is a show where you audition as a duet or a solo singer and in the end are paired with someone to go through and compete as a duet. Alice makes it through and is nervous as to who her partner will be. But what happens when it's her Middle School bully whom she hasn't seen in four years that she's paired with? He used to torment her but while he was gone she learned what it means to fight back. It seems he hasn't given up his evil ways but Alice will have no part of it. One of the singing coaches then suggests they fake date. That shouldn't be too hard right? Wrong. They can't even tell any one else in the participant house that it's fake. So they act like they're in love in front of everyone, but behind closed doors they're still at each others throats. Will the two be able to over come this challenge? There is a fine line between love and hate after all... {TITLE MAY CHANGE} P.S. Feel free to leave comments with any suggestions for me. I'm always looking to improve my work! Or tell me if you like the story so far, it would make my day!(:
