The general pain, from the pressure my body was undergoing. And the pain in my heart. Knowing that I killed another man. Another man who was stronger than me. I'd taken another innocent life, that did not need to be ended. The guilt was overwhelming, however not strong enough to overpower the shame and longing. I had left Ishimaru."
