16-year-old Allison Germaine, Guy Germaine's twin sister, has always been in love with hockey along with her brother. Half the reason is because of her team, the Ducks. She loves the people and how funny and welcoming they are. She couldn't say no when the Ducks were asked to compete for Team USA. While competing with her team, she meets Dean Portman.

In the movie its like one month but I wanted to expand the times and make it a year. (I know that's a lot but I wanted time for the characters to get to know each other and bond.)
