One who struggles to live is one who is miserable. They don't know their purpose. They may struggle with addictions, whether it be to substances, alcohol, pain, starvation, or death.

This life is similar to the one Dazai Osamu leads. A man who is inhumane, a mistake created by the deities. Dazai finds the sea calming. His one wish is to die. For the sea to swallow him whole. For the buildings of Yokohama witness his leap off. For the medicine he needs to take betray him.

On a metro train, 3 in the morning, Dazai comes across a similar red head whilst intoxicated. He passes out from the amount he's drunk, and chuuya is forced to bring him home. A relationship that will be rebuilt ever since four years ago.

First off, I'd like to give some warnings. There will be mentions of drugs, alcohol, death, self harm, addiction, suicide, and mental illness mentioned throughout this story, some details of this story are derived from No Longer Human. I'll have warnings at the beginning of each chapter for contents.

I am a student and I cannot confirm when new chapters will be out. My free time is sometimes very limited, but I will try to get out chapters as soon as possible.

I'll put a warning at the beginning of the story if another ship is mentioned.

The chapter names and content of each one are derived from songs, at the top of each chapter there will be a video to each song, I suggest giving them all a listen before reading! some chapters may have soundtracks! I'll have a A/N at the beginning saying if there is one or not.
