After Senior Year.
June 30th, 2014. My life has always been a mess. From bullies constantly pushing me to the ground to my family pulling me in so many directions I begin to fall apart. This isn't just about all the terrible things I've dealt with, but also the amazing times I've had. Late nights out with my friends and great laughs reading my favorite books past sunrise. This is my life journal after I graduated. It's filled with some normal and not so normal everyday struggles. If your life isn't story worthy are you sure you're living it right?Terminé
BROKEN
A love journal. A journal that talks about overcoming heartbreak. A journal that has fragments and thoughts of what it felt like loving Him. I wrote this because I know how heartbreak feels and I know that sometimes, we just want to die. I started writing this when I was in love and even though I don't love him anymore, I still haven't finished writing. Hope I can make you see how I felt and how I get better every day. (Periodic Updates)Poetry isn't just words put together in a certain rhythm or a smooth way; it's the act of putting yourself and emotions into your writing. It's laying back in the middle of a field and staring up at a cloud and finding all the details that make it unique. It's star gazing and asking yourself questions that could never be answered. It's wondering, it's questions, it's emotions, it's senses, it's poetry.. and every single poem has a trace of yourself in it. My goal in my poems is to make people think and believe. Think deeper than what everything seems. Look deeper. Don't just read the cover, read the book. Documentations of feelings, connections, and emotions. Contains perhaps some explicit things. Do not read if you are easily triggered, unprepared or too squeamish of all things raw and not sugarcoated. If my opinion angers you, for that I will be sorry. But I won't be responsible, nor will I let it affect me. In these chapters, you will read about heartbreak, tragedy, personal reflection and everything in between, and out and beyond. All this will be given either through short 'stories,' recounts or poems, and it also includes some of my favourite quotes, and other things like spells and old, unintentionally poetic text messages. If you decide to carry on and read, I hope you can relate. And I hope, all the more, that you can not because some things will come across as 'upsetting.' But what I do fundamentally hope is that it helps you awaken, open your eyes so you can feel.
