Aldridge hates everything, but he mostly hates the Whites. They took over their home, treat them like dirt, and neglect them, to the extent that children are on the streets, scrounging for food, instead of going to school. When Aldridge gets a chance -- a job he is assured is worth his while -- he takes it, but what he doesn't know is that not only is what he has to steal important, but it was orchestrated that HE find it. Now, Aldridge's life is changed forever as he enters the world of mythical beings, beasts, and magic, as well as a new path of self discovery and love that sends him reeling.
