Thanksgiving is coming and the country is on covid-19 lockdown. Young Matty Sullivan longs to spend the holiday with her Granny Ivy. However, Granny now lives in an assisted care facility, and the facility is closed to visitors. 
The long-awaited day arrives, but Matty is deeply depressed. The big dinner does not appeal to her, and she slumps away from the table.
