The city of demons and angels

A young, homeless and abandoned child stubles through the harsh streets of Mangelia, a large city riddled with mysteries and crimes. The young homeless boy stumbles across a young girl being kidnapped, out of pure impulse he jumps in to save her, and in the process gets badly beaten and left for dead until he is picked up by suspicious gang members who had tried to kidnap the young girl
Years later the boy has become a man, but no longer human.
