In the grand Fantasy Country of Kaulike, Supernaturals and Humans live alongside each other in harmony under the Interspecies Peace Treaty signed over three hundred years ago. Unaware of any looming danger, Cody a Hybrid, born of a human mother and wolf father, has always been the odd one out. Never fitting in and never quite feeling like he understood or knew himself. So when the Alpha of his pack and claims to be his Soulmate, he's unprepared and severely suspicious. Slowly Cody and James get to know each other as they try find out if James is right or if it's only wistful thinking.

But as the pair finally starts to come together, the danger they've been trying to ignore forces them to face a reality they hoped was just an exaggeration. Whatever's coming might be strong enough to destroy not only their happily ever after, but the world.
