Cass is tired of it all. She's tired of being told what to wear, where to be, and what to be from her mother. She yearns to escape to the mainland, a place where men and women mingle freely. Instead, Cass is stuck on her island, a village for maidens which means: No Men Allowed. But one night that all changes. Cass finds a boy half drowned on the beach and saves him, but she is constantly pestered with worry from her people, her frinds, and worst of all her mother. As she learns more about the mainland from Damian, the boy who washed ashore, she begins to question the beliefs of her people and wonders about the life she could have on the mainland. I hate having to write these... I don't know how to describe a book I haven't finished yet. But, based on what I have, here it goes. Please, keep in mind, this is book two of the trilogy.
