I only ever met one man I'd call truly noble. He was a man who was misunderstood and worthy of the world, yet everyone saw him differently. That was until I saw his true colours. The more I caught his eye the more he noticed me. We would pass each other, I would always stare a little longer at his back, wondering his story. People used to move out of the hallways if they saw him approaching whereas people would come and talk to me. He kept to himself, I was never alone, he had no friends, I was friends with everyone, I never saw him talk to anyone I spoke to many. we were polar opposites. At least that's what I thought until that day in the library, that is where I will start this story. Everyone is different, I hate the word "different", I much prefer the word unique. Unique is the only way to describe him. This is not just a story about love, it is about helping two souls who act differently but are the same on the inside, it shows the messy parts that aren't shown in movies, the tragedy, and the comedy but most of all the sizzling romance between two broken people who became one. Completed ✔ I watch a dazed Katherine. She whispered to herself. "Is this the part where I get kidnapped?" Is that what she thinks I'm here for? I don't want to kidnap her, just take her to dinner. I don't want Katherine thinking this. "Katherine I'm not here to kidnap you." She looks shocked by what I said. Katherine asked in a low voice. "If he's not, then what is he here for?" She's talking out loud to herself he concluded after that. Katherine wasn't paying attention to him. "To ask you out to dinner." Nicholas answers trying to get her attention so she realizes his intentions. "Katherine have dinner with me." "No, I can't" Katherine say after. He saw a look of confusion on her face. I'm being very clear. I don't see what she's confused about. "How do you know my name?" He hears her answering his own question. Why is she asking me this? I'm her best friend, of course I know her name. Nicholas didn't understand the previous question. "Because we've met before." The look that comes over Katherine's face is bewilderment. She doesn't get anything I'm saying. Its almost like I'm talking to a stranger. The thought shook Nicholas to his core because he's telling the truth. Katherine didn't believe him. "Breathe." He dipped his head down so that his lips were right at my ear, his strong arm wrapped securely around my waist, molding my body into his. "If you're going to fall apart,." He starts, teeth gritted. "Now's the time. I'll be here to put you back together when it's over." I squeezed my eyes shut again, and I did just that. I fell apart. ******* Secrets. Lies. Deception.
