Carlos Madrigal is never one for social interactions. Sure, he can socialize with the townspeople, but he is mostly to himself and indulges himself in his room surrounded by his music. However, his inspiration for making songs is slowly depleting and does not bring a smile to his grandmother's face.

Antonio's gift ceremony is in two months, and Félix Madrigal invited an old friend, Emmanuel Lorenzo [Last Name], to be one of the musicians playing at his youngest son's ceremony.

Emmanuel was excited to return to his hometown and arranged a flight a week after receiving the letter. His wife, Tsuki Fuyuko, was annoyed at the sudden decision that her husband made, but it disappeared as soon as she found out she was going to meet one of her childhood friends from Colombia again.

Their children are a mix of genes. Being Half Japanese and Half Hispanic has its ups and downs from their school in Japan, but they have each other to lean on when they need each other.

Arriving at Encanto two months before Antonio's gift ceremony brought nostalgia to Shoto and [Name]'s parents.

Culture shock is what [Name] feels every time she walks down the streets of Encanto. Shoto adjusted to Colombian life almost immediately, whereas [Name] tried her hardest to fit in.

Once Carlos met [Name] at a family dinner, he didn't expect inspiration to hit him. Literally.
