Orphaned as an infant cub, Lei was raised in Mr. Ping's noodle shop by her adoptive father named Ping and her adoptive brother named Po. As she grows up, Lei helps her family by cooking or handing noodles to customers. Lei and Po both love kung fu, especially the furious five. When news announced that the dragon warrior and jade warrior will be chosen, they head out to the Jade Palace to see who they were only to arrive a little late. After they finally entered the arena unexpectedly, they were now chosen as the two warriors which Shifu and the furious five aren't really impressed. Now Po and Lei must train themselves to become the dragon warrior and jade warrior in order to defeat the evil and all powerful Tai Lung.
