She Lies

The two guards hold me down on the all to familiar wooden table, I struggle against their hold but I freeze once I see the doctor coming towards me with the needle. I start screaming and shouting, pleading with them not to do it again. But I know no one will come because they can't hear me. I feel a pinch in my neck and all I can think is; No not again. My screams turn to whimpers my shouts turn to croaks. I turn and look at my nurse Sarah and I whisper the same thing I've been saying for the last 8 months. "I'm not crazy." And slip into darkness.
