News of someone dear passing brings Helen out from hiding, though not for long.

In the midst of that, the Avengers are given a document entitled the Sokovia Accords, which results in something none could have foreseen.

One is blamed for something he didn't do, forcing two on the run.

Shortly after, a Mad Titan is on a quest to gather six Infinity Stones to make the world as he deems it should be.

The heroes must learn to continue on in the face of such devastation and loss. But there may be a hope to succeed; though it will come at a cost. Will it be one they're willing to pay?

Part One: Captain America: Civil War
Part Two: Avengers: Infinity War
Part Three: Avengers: Endgame

It's been almost a month and a half since the destruction of Ultron and the city of Sokovia. No one has heard or seen Iris since. Little do they know that she's alive, well, and under the care of Carter, a man from her past. It isn't until Nick Fury picks Iris up from Carter's that Iris shows up unannounced at the New Avenger's facility, much to the bewilderment of the team. And, as always, Iris' luck is generally poor. After an accident on one of the New Avenger's missions, King T'Chaka of Wakanda brings up a serious concern that directly involves the Avengers and the way they work. Other issues arise and over 100 countries band together to create the Sokovia Accords. The Accords put the Avengers under the direct control of the United Nations, which strips the signing members of the freedom to fight when and where they believe they are needed. However, the Accords don't sit right with everybody on the team and it begins to tear friendships apart at the seams as some decide to sign. To make matters worse, a dirty bomb goes off and kills numerous people at the signing in Vienna. The worst part? Bucky Barnes is the one framed. Now he's the most wanted criminal in the world. But with the Accords in place, half the Avengers must sit on their hands and do nothing, while the other half tries to help Steve get his best friend back. It's like a bad game of high school dodgeball -- IT'S CIVIL WAR. •BOOK CONTAINS CIVIL WAR SPOILERS• [Book 2 of the Iris' Misadventures series] Copyright 2017-2022, All Rights Reserved, @RoyallySarcastic

Despite their best efforts to regain the trust of the world, the Avengers are still met with criticism. With every move they make under close scrutiny, they find themselves treading lightly to avoid more incidents akin to Ultron and the tragedy of Sokovia. When a new team of superheroes is entangled in disaster and an Avengers mission goes wrong, the government steps in with new legislation that would force all superheroes to register, and be overseen, by the government. Eager to right the wrongs of his past, Tony Stark is quick to join the government's efforts, believing that oversight will ensure that more disasters do not happen at the hands of the Avengers or any other super-powered individuals. In opposition of this is Steve Rogers, who believes that government oversight would enable politicians to decide who the villains are, forcing superheroes to become nothing more than political pawns. When the King of Wakanda is assassinated and Steve's old friend turned enemy, Winter Soldier, is implicated things become even more complicated. Forced to choose a side in a civil war, Dean Allen can't stop thinking about a far greater threat that lurks. Please note that this is an installment in an ongoing series. Reading out of order may cause confusion. The reading order for the series is: -Worthy -Avengers: Some Assembly Required -Love You to Asgard and Back -Eternal Night -Avengers: Peace in Our Time -Avengers: More Than a Mortal -Fantastic Four -Avengers: Divided We Fall -Asgardian Twilight -Avengers: Destiny Arrives -Captain America: Love in a Time of Loss -Avengers: Whatever It Takes -Avengers: A Wedding At Last -Avengers: Vengeance -Avengers: A Darker Shade of Scarlet

Your war is over." I loop my fingers around his, making one small connection as the whole world falls apart around us. Bucky takes my white Lady Liberty helmet off my head, allowing my messy braided hair to fall out. With a small smile, he brushes my dark bangs from my eyes. I close my eyes and lean into his hand. Whatever happens after this, we've found each other again. If that's the only good thing that survives today, I'm okay with that. .•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•. Two years have passed since Alexander Pierce nearly fulfilled HYDRA's mission. Two years have passed since the Insight carriers were destroyed. Two years have passed since they discovered that Bucky Barnes was not only alive but has been the Winter Soldier for seventy years. Two years have passed since Emma made the ultimate sacrifice to defeat HYDRA and awaken Bucky within the Winter Soldier. Much has happened in the time she was asleep. The Avengers have fought another threat of their own making and have added new members to the team. Grant Barnes is alive, Steve and Natasha are a couple, and Bucky is still missing. To Emma, everything seems to be the same. But nothing lasts forever. The events of a failed mission force the Avengers to make a choice: safety or freedom. Sides are taken which sever the Avengers down the middle. Things are not always as they seem. Agendas and secrets split apart the Avengers more effectively than enemies ever could. And now their most valued player must choose a side. Lady of Time and Avenger Andi is caught in the middle of a fight she could not prevent from coming to pass. And now the time has come to choose a side: to ally with a man of morality, who wishes to save the lives of many over one by surrendering his right to choose; or the man of freedom, who is willing to sacrifice everything to save the life of a close friend, and is not willing to hand over his independence lightly. Andi must decide who to fight for, even if that means losing the closest man she holds dear to her heart. She must choose what matters most: life or love. Or fall with the mighty.
