Always Second Best

I was in love with him since first grade when he pushed me on the swings, and kissed my bumps when I fell. When we stop being friends in the beginning of freshman year it hurt, he became popular. The infamous bad boy every girl wanted it just took one special person to win his heart a new girl, I didn't think befriending her would lead to them being together and stealing his heart, at the end of her story she got him and I guess I got him back as a friend but I was always there, but I was and always be is second best.
