Every kid dreams of being famous. We all want to be known and liked by others, even if were too stubborn to admit it. Evan was no different. However, he had been born in the shantytowns outside of Metro city, the city which horded to itself his life's dream, The Dome of the Games. The shantytowns were inhabited by those not able to bribe their way in, leaving them with no where else to go. Growing up, he'd listen to the men and women cheering at the matches, an unbelievable explosion of voices that could never be stopped, coming from the millions of people who lived inside that crystalline city. Someday they would cheer for him, no matter what it took. Nothing was going to stand in his way, he was going to be seen.

I used to a lot more, but, the downfalls seem a lot less daunting now that I have someone to free-fall with," I replied, and I looked up to see him smile a little at that, "We're just dancing in the rain these days.. there's no need to be afraid of the inevitable clouds that are gonna pop up." • • • College.
