You are a fairly unremarkable koopa. You do your job, you come home, you eat, you fall asleep, and repeat. Lately, your family's business has been struggling, and you wanna help in any way you can.
The Koopa Troop pays a lot, so you turn to there. You may be a little young, but that doesn't stop you from meeting the ones at the top. The Koopalings. They all seem quite interested in you, too.

A Koopaling x female reader story. I don't usually write stories like this, but I got an idea that I thought was kind of funny so yeah. I'm mostly writing this for shits and giggles. Besides, I missed writing for these little shits. There will be one koopaling who's endgame, but it won't be the one you expect.

Ludwig Von Koopa, the more mature and sophisticated Koopaling out of all of his siblings, had begun hearing a voice inside of his head. The voice, he had recognized, to be someone he had thought he would never have to worry about again. He thought he had gotten rid of that side of him, not wanting to have to deal with being called the 'crazy' one. He tried to ignore the voice, but it was clear that he was not going to give up until everything Ludwig had worked hard to get rid of regained control. On top of that, an old enemy returns and tries to use him as an advantage to take down Bowser and all of the other kingdoms. He's tried his best, not wanting the crazy side of him to come out, again. The Vampire Hybrid
Based off the Super Mario games, Disney's "The Haunted Mansion" and other resources. Ludwig von Koopa is not your average koopaling, but he's got it all. Very high IQ, loving family (even though they drive him crazy) of one father and seven younger siblings, his most advanced magic skills that no one could ever have, his musical talent and not to mention he'll be king very soon. Not yet, but soon. Two things are for certain though; the eldest 18 year old koopa prince is no longer a koopaling and he's had a normal life so far. That is until his last evening as a "mortal". One night Ludwig gets attacked by what looks to be a centuries old vampire koopa troopa and things have turned upside down. If no longer being out in the sun is bad enough; Ludwig has a much stronger thirst for blood and it threatens to turn both the Mushroom Kingdom and the Darklands into a haven for the undead. Even worse; an empire is out to capture him and do research on him. Whatever research that empire tends to learn about from Ludwig; it can't be good.
