What I Wish For (ON HOLD)

Book two of the wish series.

I used to dream of the life that existed beyond the four walls that caged me.
Until the day my best friend returned for me and offered me the key to my freedom. Only my wish was cruelly snatched away in a sick, twisted incident that ended with me on a ship headed towards my execution - the Academy.
I was now facing new monsters who trapped me in the light, my freedom just within reach but not mine to have.
I had thought my fate sealed, until a single moment had changed everything - for when they saw my truth in the marks on my body - I had been unchained, and told I was free.
A word I could not conceive in the same sentence as my name, but how could I trust the word of the males who had been the ones to lock me up without question or doubt of my innocence?
The very friends of Brandon himself - the male I had loved since I was a youngling.
In the end it didn't matter, because my best friend was returned to me - and I was given the chance to keep the promise I made to the males my family murdered.

But I should have known it was never going to be that easy - because now I'm in a race against time to find the son of a dying prisoner before it's too late.
Add in the Academy males who refuse to accept anything less than my forgiveness, a best friend who would do anything to keep me out of harm's way, and things just got a whole lot more complicated.
But I guess that was a part of what being free meant.
