Taehyung didn't have any plan on letting it get this far. His initial plan was to find the Mins' family members and get rid of them. Maybe shoot them right on the head in front of Junki just so he'll regret fucking up Taehyung's important deals.
His childhood was filled with anger and crimes, blood spilling everywhere he looks at. You either kill or be killed, so Taehyung had to find the courage to build large and thick walls around his heart just so he could live, just so he could hold a gun, point it in front of someone else's face and pull the trigger without even flinching. The world has never been kind to Taehyung and he sure as hell has no desire to be kind to it too. If he could, he would burn down the entire city into the ground, watch in amusement as he sees the fire dance right before his eyes, blood-curling scream filling his ears as he waits for everything to turn into ashes. He would do anything to ruin everything that ruined him - everything that made him who he is today.
But as he looks at Yoongi in the eyes, with all of those stars which never seem to leave their place, Taehyung feels his heart start to beat again - he couldn't remember the last time he heard his own heartbeat.
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
