Calia Wintergreen lives with her sister and her niece. They support each other in the year of 1945. Her life with her sister gets disturbed by a vengeful ex. Her sister's recently divorced ex-husband is bitter after their separation. He claims her to be insane. Calia can't let this happen, so she goes to the asylum in place of her sister. There she finds the cruelties of Danvers State Hospital and brews up an escape plan. But how far can she get?
