The game was quick to end, the other team upset. They shook hands and began to tear down to let the others leave. I watched the group of girls run out of the gym after the captain on the other team. 

I followed after them. I had no idea why but I couldn't control myself. I stood in the background, watching the captain interact with these girls. He noticed me and frowned, but soon replaced the frown with a smile. He walked towards me. I felt my heart flutter.
