After the failure of the rebellion of the 75th Hunger Games, The Capitol has changed. President Snow Jr., heir to the throne of Panem, chose to take pity on the rebelling districts, but charity is not in the blood of the Snow family.

Children of the rebelling districts are treated like scum in the capitol, giving them a true "villain" to root for the death of. People of the capital are now also able to make sure their favorite tribute makes it to the end of the game in a way that was never available before- with the right price, that is.

Nell is expected to be a victim early on in the games, but she shows the capitol, and everyone else, that death is not coming easy to this district 10 tribute. Unexpected allies, blooming romance, and in-human threats make this year's arena all the more interesting. Will she show her district how strong she can be? Or will she die like the tributes she swears to never become- those whose names are lost to time.
