Before he was Captain America, he was Steve Rogers. Best friend of Bucky Barnes and Lo Pöller. They were all just three orphans living in poverty, yet in colorful happiness.

When the war starts, Bucky is drafted into the army, leaving behind his two friends.

Steve, still dreams with serving in the front lines and involves himself in an experiment.

Lo, a brilliant violinist, is conscripted to serve as a nurse and the only thing she can hope is that this war isn't strong enough to break her close friendships and shatter her blossoming love for the skinny boy from Brooklyn.
