The Hargrove's had just moved all the way from Sunny California to a new and questionable town called Hawkins in Indiana. Alex and her twin Billy were more then unhappy about this sudden change. Especially since they up and moved during the beginning of their senior year. Yet as much as Alex hated the move, it was also slightly freeing.

Things had taken a turn this past year, one that neither Hargrove twin could fully escape from. Especially since their father wouldn't let Alex live it down. The girl wanted nothing more then to runaway from everything that had happened this past summer, and was determined to do just that. She didn't want to go back to the way she was before, and wanted nothing more then to lay low & live drama free. 

The Town of Hawkins had other plans. One half being sincere & positive in the form of a boy with wild hair. The other half being sinister & negative in the form of something otherworldly, not right, or as some may say "Upside Down."

After years of being the model obedient daughter, (Y/N) longed to be just like everybody else in school but would struggle to find anybody willing to treat her as anything other than the police chiefs daughter at fear of the wrath of her terrifying father. By 19 her toxic rebellion had taken over. Drinking, parties & late nights became the new normal & her obsession with cutting class to smoke on school grounds, found her held back in school & forced to repeat her senior year. She'd even found herself her dream boyfriend... Billy Hargrove. A relationship formed by circumstance and misadventure ended up being everything she ever wanted... until it wasn't. Hawkins saw Billy as the handsome gentleman he'd made himself out to be & only Hopper & Eddie Munson knew what he was really like. He was possessive & controlling & just a total jerk.
