Firroth Sky-Serpent is an old dragon, his lithe frame and powerful legs carrying the weight of time and with it, its many burdens; and it all started with the small cries of a defenseless, squishy creature left in the most inconvenient spot a squishy creature can ever be in.
Fifteen-year-old Emelyn is seen as a women in her village, but with her wiry build, wispy dirty blonde hair, and large eyes the color of mud, she couldn't feel any less like a woman and unappealing to potential suitors. But finding a potential suitor to care and provide suddenly becomes the least of her worries when a past she was unaware of comes to swallow her up. Now with an unlikely ally at by her side, she's forced to embark on a wild journey of self discovery, identity, and strength she never knew she held.
