Charlotte Elise Swan was the younger sister of Bella Swan, but she's always quick to point out it was only by 25 minutes. However, complications with Charlotte's delivery led to severe, irreversible ear damage that resulted in the girl's deafness.

The Swan sisters had a bond that ran more profound than what most people called a "twin bond". Being ushered between Forks and the next great city Renee had dragged them to often meant that the support they found in each other was the twins' only constant. Bella took it upon herself to be Charlotte's ears to the world and relied on her sister's calm serenity in the wake of their mother's excited eccentricity.

Charlotte jumps at the chance to relocate to Forks with Bella, excited to finish her high school years in the quaint town that her mother always pointed out didn't even appear on most maps. Neither sister could have predicted the irreparable consequences of locking eyes with a group of inexplicably beautiful siblings that liked to keep to themselves.

NOTE: I only reserve rights to Charlotte and Jasper's storyline; Stephanie Meyer owns the rights to the Twilight Universe. I don't think there are enough Jasper fanfics out there that really get to the depth of what I enjoy about his character, so I thought I would begin to write one too.
