Everyone knows that twins have a special connection and that they work better together. But when twins are born that are born that are more powerful than usual; with parents that represent light and dark, there is no longer balance in the world.
For centuries the alliance known as the Illumine has fought to preserve all that is good and represents light, but they have been countered by the Shadow an opposing force that lives off of chaos and darkness. When twins Blake and Alina are born, they have enough power, together, to end the century long struggle. They can tip the balance in favor of the Illumine or the Shadow.
The only question is, in which way is the balance going to be tipped?
