As for items zirbel doesn't carry much except a long sword in a Scabbard on his hip other than that he doesn't really have much on his person. Lily is very short in comparison to zirbel at 5,9.Lily has Her hands completely covered in ink other than that nothing too noticeable. Unlike zirbel who has a tail she can shoot ink spikes these can normally kill the butcher gang and Searchers with ease but Sammy would only find them a small nuisance.
