As Frank deals with stressful family problems, he slowly gets more depressed and heads straight into the ground. Despite the psychologist's best efforts, he hasn't returned to his usual happy self.
This changes the day he officially meets Gerard. The mysterious black haired boy brings him out of his misery and shows him the true meaning of love, and a Christmas spirit.
