Michael locked the bathroom door and washed the blood out of his mouth from his busted lip.
"Fucking asshole", he muttered to himself.
After cleaning himself up, Michael glared at his reflection for a bit and became more and more disgusted by it the longer he gazed. "Pathetic and worthless". He thought. That's what he has become. His attention shifted toward his cell phone vibrating on the counter, revealing a text notification from Luke:
"Hey, is everything all right? Do you need to sneak over again? We can play fifa or watch Forest Gump?"
And that's when Michael realized that life wasn't completely shitty after all.

Started: 5/17/16 (May 17, 2016) Finished: 3/17/17 (March 17, 2017) Michael lived on the poor side of town with a 15, 12 and 4 year old to take care of while his mother wasted her money on drinking. He worked every night for 6 hours, except on the weekdends when he worked 9 to 5. He wasnt happy but he kept all of it inside. Luke lived on the rich side of town with everything he wanted, being the youngest, and was spoiled rotten. He never worked, had his older brother to do his homework, and had it made.
