Their journey of discovery takes dangerous turns, but by the time they understand what they are dealing with they realize that they have gone too far to abandon their pursuit.
They are joined by a girl from a very different kind of society who shares one undeniable factor with them. Together, they make a discovery that changes everything they thought they knew about their world, the universe, and themselves. They begin to understand why they were given the clues that led them to the discovery, and, more importantly, who put them in their path.
They are made an offer; their choice would be a determining factor in the fate of their world. The risks involved, should they accept, will be great - but refusing would tear their souls apart.

"It's human nature. It's instinct to survive, no matter the cost." The world has fallen into desolation. Their leader, a destructive insomniac, promises to help him in return for the skills and usefulness this young boy seems to possess, but something disrupting sends waves of unease through the Raiders, something about a forgotten past and talk of a mutiny. Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
