There was another pair of stairs and Julie ran towards them. Her potential rapists sounded like they were a bit farer away than earlier.

The stairs now weren't simple and out of stone anymore. It was massive, black wood with carpeted stairs and expensive looking vases left and right.

Another floor and another. Below her she could hear the men shout and she turned around to check how close they were.

Suddenly she bumped into a large chest. The force made her wince, fall backwards and land on the wooden parquet.

Julie held her side as she sat up again.

As she looked up she froze.

Her eyes met with a pair of blue ones that belonged to a very unamused looking king and Julie couldn't decide if she wanted to throw up or start running again.

When they try and steal from the royal palace, they drag her along and she gets captured.

Quite the scary situation if you consider being locked in the castle of the most powerful man on the continent, that isn't amused about your nightly activities.
