Gavin Little certainly wasn't the hottest, nor the tallest, nor the smartest boy at Newcastle High School. Deborah Williams certainly didn't have the prettiest hair, or the best makeup, or the cutest outfit. These two kids were, well, normal.
As stories go, this one started out pretty strange. He liked her and she liked him, and after some trivial encounters and a couple make out sessions, a normal boy went to the school dance with a perfectly normal girl. Or, at least, what seemed like a normal girl. Gavin Little may not be the most perfect boy---but he was the only boy Deborah would ever want. After all, Who Needs A Bad Boy?

THIS IS THE SECOND BOOK IN THE GOOD AND THE BAD SERIES. IT IS NOT REQUIRED THAT YOU READ THE FIRST ONE BUT I RECOMMEND THAT YOU SHOULD. *** "I'm not going to make you that girl." he tells me rubbing my back. "I'm not making you some play toy Reece. You're more than that. We're more than that. I can't promise to change over night or completely but I can promise to try." Those are really all the words I need to hear from him. That's he's willing to try. "I love you." I murmur into his shirt. "I love you too, babe. We're going to be okay." "Yeah," I agree nodding. "I know." ** * Caprice Hunters-Valentine, the daughter of Bronx and Damien Hunters-Valentine, is known as the queen bee of the school. with her piercing blue eye and nappy attitude. No one would dare cross her path. She left the dance school at age nine and transferred to a prep school and ever since, things were never the same. Caprice owns her school, High and Academy like a queen rules a kingdom. with her parents basically funding the school, everyone has no choice but to bow down to her every beg and command. of course, every queen needs their king, right? Hudson Kingston plays that role in her life. No one dares tries to double cross, Reece. But what happens when Liam McCormick, her rivalry, decides Ms. Prom Queen needs a wake-up call? Literally. After a class camping trip, everything goes south for the royals of Highland High and eventually, someone will be at the bottom.

You know how in all the stories there's a nerd or an 'average girl' who ends up with the super popular, perfect jock that gave up his player ways just to have her? Yeah, well real life isn't like that. After a joke that went a little too far, I found myself with a crush on one of the most popular guys in the school. Unfortunately, I didn't get a happy ending like in all the books and movies. He didn't feel the same. Never did and never will... ...but maybe the happy ending isn't always about getting the guy.
