Y/N and Daryl have been friends since they were kids and she always helped him and was always there for him.
When the world went to shit the two friends got separated, thinking each other had died. That is until Daryl stumbles upon Y/N while hunting in the woods. After finding out his best friend is still alive, he takes her to the camp he's been staying at and she is welcomed by everyone there, happy to have another person joining them.
As time goes on the two friends realise they have feelings for each other, Daryl becomes more protective over her due to his feelings. He wants to tell her, and she wants to tell him. But they don't know how. Until one day they're hunting together for the group...

Y/n was your average college student before the world went to shit. She lived in Atlanta with her childhood friend, Glenn, and had never once left the city after she had moved there. However, the end of the world changed that, forcing her to leave the city and wander the highway. When the city was overrun, she was separated from Glenn and forced to flee the city, which she hadn't left for years. With no idea where to go or what to do, she simply wandered down the highway. And though she may have been a city kid, she was far from useless.
