Anna is your average small town girl. The only problem is that she moved to the city, after she finished college. Anna thought that she belonged in the city, but she was wrong. She stayed there for almost five years before deciding to leave. The only problem now is that she has nowhere to go. She can't go back home now; she's a disappointment to her family. Feeling disappointed in her choice, Anna goes to find a book to drown her sorrows in, and instead, she finds a magazine filled with articles by men wanting to find a bride without having to do any of the wooing. Anna is intrigued by one man in particular, Brent Donovan. Just by looking at his picture she can already tell he's a hot rough and tough cowboy, and that's exactly what she wants. So she sends him a letter, and let's just say the rest is history...

Saving Grace autorstwa allie7
35 części Opowieść Zakończona Dla dorosłych
"Dance with me." While I knew it wasn't a demand, it wasn't a question either. I hesitated and he noticed. "Come on Grace, give this gentleman the honor of a dance." "I don't see a gentleman anywhere." He chuckled, stepping closer and tucking his thumbs into his tight jean pockets. He looked like every woman's dream--dark jeans that hugged him sinfully, golden-tanned skin contrasted by his white-fitted shirt, a black, wide-brimmed cowboy hat, and a smile that could send any woman on her knees. Not to mention a voice that coated your skin like silk sheets. I hated how much I noticed. "You're right, but I would like the honor anyway... ma'am." ********************* Meet Grace--living the city life, reserved, eager to please, loyal to a fault. Feeling empty for reasons she's not yet sure of, she's adamant on chasing anything that makes her feel free. Meet Colt--living the country life, private, stubborn, outspoken. Feeling empty for reasons he's well aware of, he hides in his daily routine. Grace can't seem to figure out why she holds nothing back when it comes to Colt. He's absolutely infuriating. Colt can't seem to understand the affect Grace has on him, and why he cares what she does. She's entirely maddening. When the two get lost in the wilderness, it's up to Colt to get them back. Can they put their differences aside long enough to survive? Is it Colt who will save Grace, or is it she who will be his saving grace? Started: March, 2019 Ended: September 18, 2019 Edited: 🚫 Word Count: 55,235 Note: This was my second ever book to write, and it's super cringy. It's also written in country/western lingo so some things won't seem grammatically correct. Also, this book is based on the Wild West time period (1865-1895). Some of the places that will be mentioned in this book are fictional places I have come up with, others are (or were) real but may look different than they actually looked in history. The Cowboy's Love

Wade smiled at her, and their eyes met. Aubrey held her breath as she studied his sapphire eyes, so deep and so bold. If only they didn't look as if they were piercing through her soul. "I know that I can grow to love you with all my heart, and I'm gonna make you love me right back... even if it kills me" he whispered. Aubrey Cutshall is a woman who has no idea what she wants or how she wants it, and that goes double for husbands. When a problem with her grandmother's will causes her to have need of one of them by her 21st birthday, she sets off to find one of the two-legged annoyances. What she never expected was to find a God-fearing one, let alone a good looking one. All Wade Dylan knows is that he's in a bind. He is caught between his freedom or keeping his honor, but his worries just begin when the choice is made for him. What starts out as a mere arrangement of convenience turns out to be the worst idea of his life. She thinks she doesn't fit in his world. She is his world. Can faith in their God bring them together?
