Changing tides, the screams of seagulls in the morning, the monotony of life, visions of death; those were Favian's favorite things to include in his poems. As the ocean sang its songs, he tried to capture them into words; alone in his room, with tangling thoughts and an empty stare.

When he meets Alpine, he finds out what alexithymia is, and how much it complicates literally everything. Suddenly, instead of listening to the ocean, he starts listening to his heart. And, much like his attempts in understanding the waves, he can't decipher anything. Other than the fact that he doesn't want it to end.

Or a story about two teenage boys in love, exploring their true selves, finding their paths and figuring out what it takes to change and heal.

Or an edgy teenager trying to cope with stuff, and another teenager helps.

!! This story will contain mentions of depression, suicide, self-harm, possibly sa and ed. !!

But what if it's Olivia's carefully crafted "bad girl" façade that begins to crumble first... all because of a certain brunette who was never supposed to matter? ๑ "After what you and your stupid friends did to me, isn't it enough? Do you really have to rub it in my face?" I snapped, my voice shaking with fury. Olivia just smirked, stepping closer until her warm minty breath fanned against my lips. My pulse went wild, betraying me. "I'm only just getting started, angel," she whispered in that husky voice of hers. "And I'll stop... the moment I hear you moan my name." ๑ An angel and a rebel. A scholarship girl and a playgirl. Can love survive when it's least expected-or will it destroy them both?

Completed. ☼ " Her denial, that was like a dam holding back a flood of feeling, of sweet relief for desperate soil, holding back a flood it stood no chance against, as yet another crack formed with a strong wave that already knew it had won. On the other side Marley stood, watching her dam's inevitable, impending destruction - fearing, knowing, that quenching her aching thirst would be synonymous with drowning, would be synonymous with coming up for air, would be synonymous with surrendering to a force of nature that was beautiful in all its calm, but terrifying in all its chaos. He absentmindedly tucked a loose flyaway behind her ear. Right then. Another crack in her last line of defence. Another rolling back of a wave, gaining strength, beating against the tired concrete. Another overflow rolling above the wall, droplets racing to sink into her every vulnerable place. Another enigma - still being afraid, while watching the water, and feeling the ache " ☼ Praise for 'Camp Where The Hell Are We?' Nia Evans feels as though her kidney disease is ruining every aspect of her life. In particular, her last year of school. So, rather than return to the whispers full of lies that suffocate her, she opts to resit her final year at a different school. Where, she hopes, her disease won't consume her so she can pretend to be just like everyone else and get past the resentment she hides from her dad. But on her first day, her photo is taken by the one boy who will ruin her chances to blend in. All Milo Thompson has ever wanted to do is swim. As a child, the Olympics was his dream. But now, he understands his dreams were unrealistic. Caught between his parents' abusive relationship, he's left to look after his eight-year-old sister. Afraid of exposing weakness, he hides behind a reputation that no longer belongs to him. All at the expense of the future he still dreams of. When they meet and find art as a common ground, they open up to each other more than they ever intended through their work. Milo learns to express his true emotions in more than just his drawings. And Nia discovers that perhaps there is more to life than her disease. But as their attraction for one another becomes impossible to ignore, they both hide behind their insecurities, unwilling to accept what the other is so desperate for them to see, their self-worth.
