The Death Of Peace Of Mind
8 parts Ongoing Mature*"Why did I not die? More miserable than man ever was before, why did I not sink into forgetfulness and rest? Death snatches away many blooming children, the only hopes of their doting parents: how many brides and youthful lovers have been one day in the bloom of health and hope, and the next a prey for worms and the decay of the tomb! Of what materials was I made, that I could thus resist so many shocks, which, like the turning of the wheel, continually renewed the torture?*
*But I was doomed to live;"*
***Mary Shelley,-Frankenstein
Harlow Potter is totally worn out, both physically and mentally, from the never-ending demands of the life she's gotta live. She longs for a big change, a world where people are more accepting and empathetic. The afterlife, by not accepting her, has left her feeling more and more frustrated and pissed off, like she's been unfairly denied the comfort and peace she desperately craves.
The lack of understanding and the inability to get why this happened just make her despair and disappointment even worse.
After the big battle at Hogwarts and years later, finding out about all the betrayals only adds to this feeling of emptiness that's always haunted her.
