Where one goes, the other will not be far behind. The residents of the Shire had uttered those words with various degrees of affection and ire over the years as Bilbo Baggins and his young cousin Joanna Took hunted for adventures along the quaint village they resided in. But as soon as they grew up and settled into a comfy life--as all respectable hobbits were want to do--of course an adventure had to come to them. An adventure that included a wizard and a company of dwarves led by a certain obstinate dwarf.
