Rey walked out of his life a year ago today. He didn't deserve her, he never did and just like he'd feared, he wasn't what she needed. He had been, for a while but life and responsibilities got in the way and slowly, he'd hurt her. 

Unable to cope with the sullen anniversary, Ben makes foolish decisions that lead people back into his life. 

People who know that Rey is also not over her ex.
