It was silence, a short silence. Misaki's heart pounded against her chest in a means to find a way out. She couldn't bare to open her eyes as she heard a shuffle. Waves of anticipation crashing against her, ready to push her over the deep end.

Suddenly the deep husky voice broke through the silence, the voice she'd been longing for making everything stop in its tracks

"We love you too." Her eyes shoot open.

At the mere age of seventeen, Misaki Nakamuar lived alone in the house her grandmother left her. After her grandmother's death, Misaki was left to fend for herself in the world of Alphas, betas, and omegas. Living alone was rough, but living alone as an omega in a world that wanted to break you down alone, was worse. The girl distracted herself, attending her last semester of Highschool, graduation within her grasp, and working at a bakery part-time. But it practically felt effortless. The girl longing for the warmth of another's touch.

All means came to a stop as one night, on her way home from work, she finds an injured cat. With her heart on her sleeve, the girl takes the familiar cat home to tend to its wounds. Unaware of what she'd encounter in the morning to come.
