She is Daenys Velaryon, bastardborn daughter of Laenor, heir to High Tide and The Driftwood Throne.
After her fathers murder it is up to her grandparents to fend for her safety, for a child they did not know existed.
At Rhaenys' behest she is sent to her Baratheon kin at Storms End. A bargaining chip to be used in the future.
She is not safe there, among her kin. Soon she is sent to the Red Keep as a friend to Helaena. With Helaena comes the Hightowers and the Targaryen Dynasty. And Aemond... He has been drawn to the unusual Baratheon girl through the years, but he understands quickly that not all is as it seems..
