The journey of the hero continues but the goddesses have to travel to a different dimension. The city's protector "Jake" must stay behind to ensure safety to the town. He meets some new faces that are willing to help him defend the city from danger. I wanted to introduce the RWBY franchise into this story so hopefully people like it, as well as many other franchises that are loved. Enjoy! Remnant is a land full of legends and stories. Some are more popularly known such The Story of the Seasons and the legend of the Silver-Warriors. However, there is one legend that has been long forgotten and buried deep in Remnant's history. This is the legend of The Grimm Hunter, a creature of terrible power that was believed to have terrorized Humanity before the four Kingdoms were established and shortly after Humanity discovered Dust. It's been depicted to be an amalgamation of different Grimm with the ability to absorb the life-force of any creature with a soul. Not only did doing so regenerate any dealt wounds, but also allowed it to convert it into dark and destructive energy. Even though The Grimm Hunter was a creature of darkness itself, it also slaughtered Grimm with the same level of ferocity it showed Humanity. However, just as it seemed The Grimm Hunter would eradicate all of Humanity, it vanished without a trace. Not many know what happened to it but the legend speculates that a squadron of Silver-Eyed Warriors defeated it. But, that's not the truth, now is it? Author's Note: I've been rereading this as I post it because I actually wrote it two or three years ago, and the first three chapters really don't reflect the overall tone.
