The Quest for High School Mathletic Glory

Geneviève, a junior in a rural southwest Louisiana high school, quietly lived her high schooler life until the unexpected victory at the state calculus championship propels her to the forefront. On the eve of the national championship, her school, and then her town got behind her team while, with the growing popularity of her mathletics team, the stress of college admissions as well as of competitive pressure weigh down on her.
