At 29, Wolfgang is a Canadian pitching phenom once drafted by Minnesota Twins organization and has spent nine years in the minor leagues, unable for various reasons, some known to him, some unknown to  make the "The Show" through three major league organizations, except for Toronto Blue Jays, his hometown, signed him to a one year deal among a pitching roster of strong minor and major league pitching, he almost was passed over again...until he put together a clinic of starting rotation pitching with Toronto's Triple A affiliate, Buffalo Bisons throughout their season and when the planets aligned around trades, injuries, and one nervous break down...Wolfie got his change. 

And unlike the Mighty Casey, if he were to get this chance he had vowed he would never strike out...mostly because he was a pitcher.

Vikk had turned to alcohol to lessen the pressure on him to succeed and now it was just apart of his life. He tried to hide it and got pretty good at it too, but he was sure that someone knew of his habit. He was drinking his life away. Lachlan was diagnosed with schizophrenia. The mania set in worse as more years passed to the point where he wasn't entirely sure what was real anymore. Everyone has their battles, but sometimes, people lose.
