not to long after blue joined the star sans, maybe a month or two after blue had started to loose his energetic self and would slack off from time to time. sometimes in battle his lazy-ness would affect how he fought the opposing team, the bad sans. dream and ink found this not very helpful to them, there job as protectors, it was falling down hill because blue was just, out of line.
