He's given the mission to watch her, protect her, gain her trust, and find out what she's hiding. Connor is intrigued by this enigmatic doctor, but she refuses to let him in. Tangled in a treacherous web where failure means death or worse, Clara and Connor navigate through the secrets and lies, each doing their best to complete their missions. [Connor x Android!Reader] Detroit is having a problem with their androids, they are attacking their owners; Deviants is what they have been called. Cyberlife is desperate, they are afraid that having just one Deviant hunter on the case isn't enough. So they made a new series, RX400 model. It's a prototype just like RK800, but with more experimenting features. Now that both their Deviant Hunters are out there trying to solve the mystery, Cyberlife never expected the two to deviate themselves. (I do not own anything about the DBH, I just inserted another Android where I thought would be fitting. Plus I felt like Wattpad didn't have enough Android readers, so ta-da. Enjoy!)

You've always had an interest in androids ever since you were a child. The very thought that technology could create an intelligent life-form that looked just like a human always fascinated you. You quickly became a high ranking student, at one of the top universities for Android studies. To further your training, you were sent for work experience at Detroit City Police Department, and paired up with Lieutenant Anderson and an android named Connor. As you continue to work alongside Hank and Connor, you soon begin to learn things about androids you never noticed before. You also realize that you are finding yourself falling in love with the one person you are not supposed to fall in love with. 'Purple Hearts' puts a unique spin on the events of Detroit Become Human, showing the story of what is behind the scenes, the true feelings of androids, and the lives they struggle to barely survive on the streets. Throughout the story, you slowly begin to see the world in a different light, and through that, you also learn what it means to become human. Who can you really trust when the humans seem more evil than the androids do? The lines blur between the good and the bad; the human, and the android. --- Genres of drama, action, and romance. It follows the direction of the main plot of Detroit Become Human, but I have added various sub plot lines and characters unique to this fanfiction. There is foul language in this story. This is a work of fanfiction based off the game Detroit: Become Human. The characters in the story are owned by David Cage and the creators of Detroit: Become Human. Connor, the Android sent by CyberLife and Lieutenant Hank Anderson are now armed with the task of taking care of a five year old girl after she survived a house fire that was started by a suspected deviant. However, her parents were not so fortunate. Together, the three go on missions, solve cases and try to uncover what is causing androids to deviate throughout Detroit. As the story progresses, Connor begins to question the way humans treat androids. With the help of five year old (Y/n), he will have to make a decision. O BECOME A DEVIANT X REMAIN A MACHINE (40,220 words) IMPORTANT NOTICES -if you haven't watched or played the amazing game 'Detroit Become Human' yet, I highly recommend doing so before reading this as there are spoilers here. - images do not belong to me, they are just google images. I'm not entirely sure what the rules are for copyright these days, but if they violate some sort of term, I'm more than happy to remove them as they don't have a huge impact on the story
